Restoration Druid · Mythic+

Curated for Mythic+ dungeon healing. Reviewed 20 May 2026.

Spec Builds

High Keys

Wildstalker

Stronger mana efficiency and sustained HPS for longer high-key pulls. The top pick for +12 and above where fights stretch beyond 2 minutes.

Alternative M+

Keeper of the Grove

Treant burst with Force of Nature. Better for lower keys and dungeons with short, spiky damage windows where you want a big Tranquility window rather than sustained Wildstalker pressure.

As Restoration Druid, DBM timers let you pre-HoT the tank before a damage spike, pop Tranquility at the start of a bleed phase rather than reacting to a wipe, and know when Innervate is better used on yourself vs a healer who's about to go OOM in a long phase. Anticipating damage is more valuable for healers than for any other role.

Details! Damage Meter

345.4M downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 16 May 2026

Details! in healer mode shows HPS by spell, overheal rate, and — crucially for Resto Druid — the relative contribution of each HoT. If Wild Growth is pulling more healing than Rejuvenation across a raid, your blanket coverage is working. If Regrowth shows high overheal but Cenarion Ward doesn't, you're casting direct heals when the tank already has a safety net. Use it to tune, not to compete with other healers.

Danders Frames

2.9M downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 14 May 2026

Blizzard's default raid frames show health bars. Danders Frames adds Resto Druid HoT timers directly on each frame — you can see which targets have Rejuvenation, Lifebloom, and Wild Growth at a glance without a secondary tracker. The click-cast integration means you can bind heals to mouse buttons over the frames natively, which is how most competitive healers play. Method's healer team uses it as their default recommendation for Midnight. Simpler setup than ElvUI raid frames, more healer-specific than SUF.

Clicked

458.5K downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 1 May 2026

Click-casting means left-clicking a raid frame casts your most common heal (usually Rejuvenation), right-click casts Regrowth, Alt+click casts Lifebloom. Clicked sets these bindings up and works with Danders Frames (and Blizzard's default frames). The result: you stop tab-targeting and pressing spell keys, and instead heal by moving your mouse over frames. Most top Resto Druids play this way — it's the fastest possible targeting method for a HoT-heavy healer.

Cooldowns & tracking 2

OmniCD

33.4M downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 27 Feb 2026

For Restoration Druid, OmniCD's main use is tracking when your own externals (Ironbark, Innervate) are on cooldown on other players, and knowing when the other healers' major cooldowns — Revival, Holy Word: Sanctify, Barrier — are available. This prevents two healers simultaneously hitting major CDs on the same damage event. In M+, also tracks kicks so you know when the rest of the group has covered interrupts.

BetterCooldownManager

938.2K downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 22 Apr 2026

Healer cooldown management is different from DPS: you don't have a fixed burst rotation, so the CD tracker needs to surface the things you might forget under pressure. BetterCooldownManager lets you put Tranquility at the top of the list with a loud audio cue, surface Innervate when it's available (easy to forget mid-fight), and group Ironbark + Nature's Swiftness together so your defensive toolkit is always visible.

Platynator

9.5M downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 19 May 2026

Restoration Druid's toolkit is proactive: Wild Growth and Rejuvenation blankets work best when you see damage coming rather than reacting to it. Platynator puts enemy cast bars on nameplates so you can read the room — which mob is casting, whether the tank has it covered, and when a dangerous ability is about to land. In M+, this means pre-HoTing the tank 2 seconds before a big hit instead of spamming after. Also helps with positioning: knowing which casts are dangerous keeps you from standing in ground-targeted effects mid-channelling.

TargetedSpells

M+

743.8K downloads

Works in Midnight Updated 2 May 2026

Healers are high-priority targets in M+ — several abilities deal significant damage to whoever they're aimed at specifically. TargetedSpells fires a visible and audio alert the moment one of these abilities starts casting at you, giving you the reaction window to Barkskin before the hit rather than scrambling after taking the damage at low health mid-cast on someone else. Configure per dungeon for the abilities that actually require a personal; most healers use it for 3–5 specific casts per dungeon.
