Disc Priest without an Atonement tracker is flying blind. Danders Frames puts an Atonement duration indicator on each raid frame — you can see at a glance which players have Atonement active, how long before it falls off, and whether your ramp coverage is complete before the damage event lands. Method's recommended raid frame setup for Midnight. Simpler to configure than ElvUI, more healer-specific than the default.

Discipline needs both offensive spells (Penance, Schism, Shadow Mend) and reactive direct heals for targets who missed your Atonement ramp. Clicked binds direct heals to mouse-over actions on raid frames — right-click for Shadow Mend, alt-click for Flash Heal — without stopping your DPS rotation to target-switch. The ability to instantly direct-heal a target who fell through the ramp is what separates clean progression pulls from avoidable wipes.

Discipline healing is ramp-based: you apply Atonement to 8–10 targets, then burst-damage to heal them simultaneously. The two things you need to know at all times are how many Atonements are active and when the first one expires. Blizzard's default UI doesn't surface either clearly. Atonements-Tracker puts both numbers front and centre, so you know when to extend your ramp, when your window closes, and whether you have enough coverage for the incoming damage event. Built specifically for WoW Midnight patch 12.x.

Pain Suppression is one of the strongest single-target externals in the game. OmniCD shows you when Pain Suppression is available, when another Priest in your group has already used theirs, and when the tank's other defensives have already been spent — so you know whether to hold Penance for Atonement generation or use it as a targeted defensive on the tank. Also essential for knowing when Power Word: Barrier lines up with other raid-wide cooldowns.

Rapture — the Power Word: Shield empowerment window — is Disc's most commonly forgotten cooldown. It's on a 90-second cooldown, empowers every PW:S cast during its 8-second window, and is almost always available before players remember to use it. BetterCooldownManager puts Rapture at the top with an audio cue, alongside Power Word: Barrier and Divine Hymn, so your three major cooldowns are always visible even while managing the Atonement ramp.
